EDUCATION
Formal and industry specific education are
very important to Grady. He has gone to great lengths to become well educated
in the field of Real Estate, both through hands on experience and formal
classroom settings. A few of his educational achievements include: MBA: Grady
got his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2004 from the University
of Utah. He was well into a successful sales career and recognized the need
for a more advanced formal education to better service his clients. From
Masters Level Finance to Marketing and Accounting he gained the tools needed
to run a successful brokerage. BS: In 2001 Grady graduated from the
University of Utah with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He
accredits much of his success in Real Estate to business principles learned
through his undergraduate education.
INDUSTRY DESIGNATIONS
CRB: Wanting to gain as much brokerage management knowledge as possible Grady was awarded the CRB designation. The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation is recognized industry-wide as the measure of success in brokerage and real estate business management. The designation is awarded by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers to REALTORS® who have completed the Council's advanced educational and professional requirements. CRB designees consistently increase their level of industry knowledge, advance their earning and career potential, increase their firm’s profitability and benefit from active involvement in our network of real estate professionals.
CRS: As most of Grady’s early career was spent working with residential properties he received the industry recognized Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). To earn the designation, the REALTOR® must have significant experience and demonstrate volume of real estate transactions and gross sales, as well as complete rigorous educational requirements.
ABRM: Windermere represents a large number of Buyers to help them achieve the dream of home ownership. Grady holds the Accredited Buyer's Representative Manager (ABRM) designation. The designation was developed in partnership with the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB) specifically for managers, brokers and owners who wish to better incorporate buyer representation into their companies' service offerings. The ABRM designation is awarded by the Real Estate BUYERS AGENT Council (REBAC) of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS to those members who met the specified educational and practical experience criteria and passed the series of examinations.
ABR: Many of Grady’s past clients were buyers/investors. Grady’s Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meets the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
E-PRO: Windermere is a high-tech firm and subsequently Grady is very proficient with technology and holds his E-PRO designation. E-PRO® Internet Professionals are REALTORS® who have completed a rigorous certification program endorsed by the prestigious NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR). Real estate brokers who have earned REALTOR E-PRO® Certification are Internet Professionals who have completed extensive training using the Web.
GRI: Grady also holds his GRI.
Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designees have made the commitment to
provide a high level of professional services to their clients. The GRI
curriculum incorporates a common knowledge for progressive real estate
professionals. A REALTOR® who possesses the GRI designation has not only
completed a course of study required by the program, but also subscribes to
the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and has taken at
least 90 hours of specialized real estate related courses.
